Welcome to the Site!!

Hello,
Thanks for stopping by! This site has been created for the mere fact of trying to encourage each other to think outside of the box, to step out of the many assumptions and dogmas that we have come to believe through society, church, friends, etc that may not be right. We hope that you'll find it interesting but that you would be challenged to not take our word for it.  Our goal is to present documented, factual information that makes you scratch your head and say, 'Wow, I never knew or thought of that!", which then pushes you to dig a little deeper, too. Feel free to ask questions. We may not have an answer but we'll try to find them with you. There is amazing the wealth of untapped information that is out there. Let's go on a treasure hunt and see what we can find........

Anybody have a topic or question to dig into?

We are adding new articles! We would love to have a dialog going.  If anyone has any thoughts or questions that we could add a page for, please submit them through the comment link under the more tab above.  We are happy to post them anonymously. All we ask is that the content be a respectful dialog.  I don't believe there are very many people that agree 100% all the time.  We all have different ideas and thoughts. We think that it is healthy to have discussions which challenges each of us in our own thinking. Sometimes it solidifies our thinking and sometimes it changes it. The point, we think, is to be open to listening to others point of views. So feel free to submit your ideas for the website, discussion points or thoughts. Have a blessed day!

DID YOU KNOW????

  • The Bible is not Jewish....It's Biblical!
  • YHWH commanded us to honor the Sabbath day and keep it holy! (We must ask ourselves, what does that really mean)
  • That Paul was Torah observant, and extremely educated in the Word. Never did he preach against Torah.
  • YHWH is the Hebrew name of the Creator of the Universe (pronounced Yahweh, and there are some other variations in pronunciation.  Of course, no one lives to tell us exactly how it was spoken)
  • Yeshua, shortened for Yahoshua (means Yah's salvation), is the Hebrew name for Jesus. In English, His name would be translated to Joshua not Jesus.
  • There is no "J" in the Hebrew aleph-bet, so where did the book of James come from? I've been looking, have some ideas.....but early manuscripts call it Ya'akov which would be translated to Jacob.  Btw, it wasn't called the "Book of James" until the King James Bible was written, hmmm.
  • The word 'Law' used in most cases in the Bible is 'Torah' in the original manuscripts, which means 'teaching'.  Try changing out the word 'Law" and replacing it with 'Teaching' and see how it reads.
  • The definition of sin is lawlessness. (1 John 3:4) So in Hebrew it would literally be Torahlessness. Just like our laws set boundaries for us to live by, so does the Torah set boundaries for believers to live by because of our love of Yahweh thru His Son, Yeshua Hamashiach.
  • The NIV is missing 64,000 words. Try taking different translations and compare verses.  The belief that all Bibles are 100% accurate as written is not true.  All translations have the bias of the translator.  Which one you use can make a big difference.  Do your best to find one that is closest to the 'original' words translated without paraphrasing, with Brown-Driver-Briggs cross-referencing. We like the Interlinear version with Hebrew and Greek.
  • Marcion, a well known heretic, coined the terms Old Testament and New Testament.  The terms were non-existent. Old gives a "done away with" or 'replaced by" the New thought process. When, in actuality, they complete each other.
  • The "New Testament" wasn't written until well after Yeshua died.
  • When you read the "New Testament" the main source they quote is the Tanach. (The Torah, Prophets, and Writings)
  • The feasts of YHWH, also known as His Appointed Times, are not Jewish, they are Biblical, which He designed for His people to learn by and draw close to Him for "all generations".
  • Words in many translations are in italics.  This means they are not in the original manuscript used by the translators. They put it in to "clarify" what they think the verse means. Try eliminating some of those words and see how it reads!
